IMPORTANT PEOPLE FROM HISTORY
Maria Callas was an opera singer. She was a very famous soprano. She was born on the 2nd December 1923 in New York and she died on the 16th September 1977 in Paris.
She studied music in Athens. She sang lots of operas by Puccini and Verdi.
